Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: The Hero and the Brother

The sky had turned gray…

Outside, the wind was blowing fiercely, as if the entire world was waiting for an incoming storm.

Asad stood outside his throne room.

Today, he wore his black cloak… and in his eyes, there was no confusion like before.

Only focus.

And curiosity.

From beyond the doors—

The sound of an army began to rise.

Metal footsteps…

War cries…

And then—

A faint light aura.

Asad slowly narrowed his eyes.

"…Hero…"

A bright flash of light appeared beyond the door—

And within it…

A figure emerged.

White armor.

A sword glowing with holy light.

And his eyes—

Filled with determination.

Asad remained silent.

He simply watched him.

Then—

The Hero slammed his sword into the ground.

"Demon Lord!"

His voice echoed across the battlefield.

"Your tyranny ends here!"

Silence.

Asad took a step forward.

And spoke slowly:

"…Hero."

His voice was deep.

"Did you come here just to follow your fate… or do you want something more?"

The Hero raised his sword.

"I came here to avenge my brother!"

Asad stopped.

For a moment…

Silence.

"…Brother?"

He repeated softly.

A fragment of memory flashed in his mind—

Two children…

Together…

Smiling…

Then—

It broke.

Asad's expression became slightly tense.

"…Interesting."

The Hero said angrily:

"You destroyed everything… your own people… your own home!"

Asad slowly tilted his head.

"…And you think I wouldn't remember?"

The Hero looked confused.

"…What?"

Asad took another step forward.

A strange glow appeared in his eyes.

"…Your name…"

"…It's Leon, right?"

The Hero froze.

"…How do you—?"

Asad gave a faint smile.

"…Because I wrote you."

Silence.

The entire battlefield seemed to stop for a second.

The Hero's expression changed.

"…What do you mean?"

Asad raised his hand—

Dark energy slowly gathered around him.

"…It means I've already written this world… for you two brothers."

"…And I am not just a Demon Lord…"

"…I am the one who wrote your story."

The Hero's anger intensified.

"Lies!"

He swung his sword—

"LIGHT SLASH!"

A massive wave of energy rushed toward Asad—

FAST—

But—

Asad simply raised his hand.

BOOM!

The attack stopped.

Blocked by a dark barrier.

The Hero was shocked.

"…Impossible…"

Asad lowered his hand.

"…You are strong…"

"…but your story is not complete yet."

The Hero's heart began to race.

"What are you talking about?!"

Asad looked into his eyes…

And for a moment—

He was no longer just a Demon Lord…

He was Asad.

"…I don't want to kill you…"

The Hero froze.

"…because…"

Asad narrowed his eyes slightly.

"…you are my brother."

Silence.

The wind seemed to stop.

The Hero's sword trembled slightly.

"…What?"

Asad stepped closer.

"…And I…"

"…am your older brother."

The Hero's entire body froze.

Shock…

Confusion…

And then—

Pain.

"…No…"

He whispered.

"…That can't be true…"

Asad remained silent.

Just watching him.

Then—

He spoke softly:

"…Truth is sometimes… the most dangerous thing."

The Hero gripped his sword tightly.

Tears filled his eyes—

"…If you really are my brother…"

"…then…"

He raised his sword—

"…I WILL END YOU!"

Asad gave a faint smile.

"…Then try."

Darkness and light…

Standing face to face.

Two brothers.

One destiny.

And a story…

That had now become real.
