Sunlight spilled onto the curtains, making the pale blue fabric look much warmer. The person on the bed groggily turned over, then, as if remembering something, their eyes shot open.
The woman opened her eyes, her gaze completely clear.
When she caught sight of the bed beneath her, her clear eyes darkened slightly.
She remembered perfectly well that she had slept on the floor last night. 'So how did I end up in bed?'
Just as she was pondering this, she heard the bathroom door click and immediately looked over.
Zachary had probably just taken a shower. His hair was still dripping, and his eyes, like a starry sky, rested calmly on Olivia.
"You're awake? Getting up to wash?"
Olivia stared at Zachary with a peculiar expression for a moment before asking slowly, "Was it you who carried me to bed last night?"
Zachary didn't deny it, admitting it outright.
"Mm."
