Her pitch-black eyes were completely red, as if stained with blood.
Seeing this, Henry Lester's heart leaped in alarm. He rushed over to Yara Quillan and pulled her fiercely into his arms. "Baby, what's wrong? What is it?"
Yara Quillan's body was still shaking; her entire frame trembled. Gazing up at the man holding her, she suddenly broke into a smile. A bone-chilling coldness from that smile reached Henry Lester's eyes, sending a shiver through his own heart.
"Henry Lester, let go!" This was the first time Yara Quillan had ever spoken to Henry Lester in such a tone. It was so frigid that it made him frown.
"Baby..."
"Baby? Hah..." Yara Quillan gave a self-deprecating laugh. "You knew, didn't you? You knew all along, didn't you?"
Henry Lester still didn't know what had provoked her, but he watched as Yara Quillan pried his arms open with all her strength. "Henry Lester, I'm telling you! I'm going to kill Sharon Grant right now! I'll kill her! Kill her!"
