The lights flickered erratically. Amid the strobing, all eyes were fixed on the stage, so no one noticed an unusual glint of light flash right in front of Yara Quillan's face.
Just as Ian Shannon and Moira Irving arrived, Yara Quillan was landing. Seeing this, they both let out a long sigh of relief.
Just as they were about to head backstage to find Yara Quillan, one of Ian Shannon's friends ran up. He handed Ian his phone and said, "Ian, here's your phone. While you were in the bathroom, your boss called. I picked up and told him you were here.
