Just as Charles Jacobs was gossiping, he suddenly heard Jace Lennox call his name.
"Here!" Charles Jacobs answered reflexively.
The next moment, Charles Jacobs saw Jace Lennox walk out of the bathroom, carrying the girl from before. She was draped in Jace's jacket and curled up in his arms, looking like a tiny ball. Charles couldn't get a clear look at what this future sister-in-law—as Dr. Whitecoat had called her—actually looked like.
Before leaving with Phoebe Faulkner, Jace Lennox shot a glance at Charles Jacobs, whose eyes were still darting around. "Lock up everyone here," he said coldly. "I don't care what methods you use. I want them in prison for a full fifty years!"
