Jace picked up a steamed bun. As he took a bite, his gaze swept over Phoebe, and he commented ambiguously, "Tastes pretty good."
It took Phoebe a moment to process. When she realized where Jace's gaze had lingered, she was so angry she started to tremble, completely at a loss for words.
'That bastard! He's being a pervert while keeping a straight face!'
"I hear you're a design major." Just as Phoebe was fuming over the fact that a total pervert lurked beneath Jace's stern exterior, he suddenly turned serious and brought up business.
