The moment Howie and Chad left, Phoebe Faulkner turned to Robin Morgan, ready to call him to account.
"Just a little busy," Robin Morgan answered, glancing at Phoebe Faulkner.
"You're as quiet as ever." Phoebe Faulkner leaned against a stool at the bar and ordered a drink from the bartender. She smiled and said, "I'm happy to see you guys back. I really am."
Robin Morgan opened his mouth, but ultimately said nothing.
A moment later, just as Phoebe Faulkner received her drink from the bartender, he silently reached out and pushed it aside. Phoebe Faulkner looked at him. "You should drink less," he said. "You're a bad drunk."
"You're the same as always, still daring to boss me around." Phoebe Faulkner sighed. "I'll have a glass of juice, please." Then, looking at Robin Morgan, she added, "Satisfied?"
Robin Morgan didn't answer. Instead, he suddenly looked at Phoebe Faulkner. "You broke off your engagement?"
