Gina Gable excitedly hugged Scott Sterling, whose fur was standing on end, as she followed behind Finn Shepherd.
She discovered that whenever she got close to Finn Shepherd, the little cat would become incredibly alert. He stopped trying to escape and would even nuzzle into her arms, glaring menacingly at Finn Shepherd as if protecting his owner.
She knew it!
'My little cat is just a bit mischievous, he doesn't actually dislike me!'
"Wine? Or juice?" Finn Shepherd's voice came from above her head.
Gina Gable was preoccupied with sneakily trying to poke the little cat's belly and paid him no mind at all.
Scott Sterling, too, had tensed up. He glared at Finn Shepherd with displeasure, ignoring Gina Gable's mischievous little hands on him.
"Girls should probably stick to juice." Finn Shepherd passed her a glass of grape juice with a considerate expression. "It's Sicilian grape juice, with red berries and herbs added. It's on the sweeter side. Want to try it?"
