Holly Wyatt froze, looking up at Hugh Wyatt with a confused expression.
Hugh Wyatt's lips tightened into a thin line. He shot a sidelong glare at Silas Thornton before looking away. Radiating a frosty aura, he slowly walked over and sat down across from him.
"President Thornton, you're here?" Mr. Wyatt came out with bowls and chopsticks, his face wreathed in smiles. "Dinner's ready. Let's eat!"
He placed a bowl and chopsticks in front of Silas Thornton, gesturing for him to begin.
Silas Thornton nodded slightly. "Thank you."
Before Silas could take them, Hugh Wyatt snatched the bowl and chopsticks away and placed them in front of himself. His hostile intent was painfully obvious.
Everyone froze for a second.
Seeing this, Mrs. Wyatt scolded him in a cold voice, "Hugh Wyatt! What do you think you're doing?"
Holly Wyatt also stared at him, dumbfounded.
Hugh's strange behavior seemed to have started right after she told him about Silas in the living room.
