A smile danced in Holly's eyes as she unconsciously glanced at the tail hanging by his side.
The tip of his tail was curled into a small heart, brazenly dancing for her.

Holly put away her drawing pad, the tips of her ears flushing for a moment.
In the past, Silas had often made a little heart for her with his tail, but she'd never thought much of it.
But now, she couldn't help but sense another emotion in his little heart gesture.
It wasn't the love of a guardian for a child.
