A man with fluffy black ears atop his head and a swinging, long, black, furry tail burst into the villa with a cold and stern expression.
Holly Wyatt didn't know what was happening; though deaf and mute, she somehow heard the man's disdainful voice at that very moment.
[The cub has grown a little.]
[Still too weak.]
[How did she end up looking like this? So gaunt and scrawny, so unsightly. Standing there, she looks like a telephone pole—the shortest one, at that.]

She rubbed her fingertips together, staring at the tip of the man's tail that curled into a little heart shape, wanting to touch it...

Dressed in a camisole and hot pants, the moment she pulled open the main door, she heard the man's sharp, explosive inner shriek.
[Aaaah! Damn it! Who taught the cub to dress like this?! I was only gone for two years, where is my cub who used to be all bundled up?!]
[Give her back!!]

As the leader of the Wolf Clan, Silas Thornton's primary mission was to manage the pack, and his secondary mission was to raise the cub well.

The manor gate slowly opened, and several wolf pups poked their heads out from top to bottom, stacked like a Jenga tower.


"Whoa~ So many carrots!" Snowy, at the bottom of the pile, pointed at the wolves stuck in the garden.


SMACK! SMACK! Annie tapped Snowy's head. "You dummy! That's Mr. Wizard and Ms. Wizard!"


"Huh?" Evie stepped out from the doorway, revealing her whole body with a look of astonishment. "Snowy, I think your mom's there too!"


Snowy immediately shot to her feet, cupped her mouth, and howled, "Awooo~ Mama! Mama's turned into a carrot! Somebody save my mama!"


The moment she finished, the little pups quickly shifted into their wolf forms, spun around, and took off running like mad, their high-pitched howls attracting every wolf in the manor.


"Wolves, come quick! Mr. Wizard is buried up to his waist in the garden!"


"Ms. Wizard looks like a telephone pole!"
