Chloe Fairchild paused. "Him? I don't know... Hasn't he arrived yet?" She thought for a moment. "He's probably coming with Sean Conrad."
"By the way, Annelise, guess who scratched my car?"
"Who?"
"Kian Miller!"
"Kian Miller?" Annelise Valentine repeated the name. She knew of him—he was in Jett Westgate's circle. She'd seen him at Nivelis before.
"He came to Veridia with Leo Lennox, Hugo Summers, and a few others for your engagement party. He scraped my car right after driving into the city." Chloe Fairchild pouted. "Hmph, I bet he did it on purpose! I just got that car, it was my first time driving it. What rotten luck!"
Annelise Valentine shook her head. "It's a wonder you two managed to run into each other."
"Ugh, let's not talk about that. How are things with Zane and Ezra Quinn being handled?" Chloe Fairchild asked.
