"Just a reminder, you have lunch with your Justin Sullivan in half an hour. You should be leaving now."
"Really?" Selena Sheridan glanced skeptically at the time, then shrieked, "Oh no, I'm going to be late again!"
She snatched her bag and bolted out of the office.
A few minutes later, the door opened again. Elliot thought it was Selena Sheridan coming back.
He tossed down his pen and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Why are you back... It's you!"
The man who had entered the office wore a black suit. The top two or three buttons of his black shirt were undone, revealing a sexy Adam's apple and lending a roguish air to his otherwise formal appearance.
He sat down languidly before the desk, crossing his legs. "What's wrong? If not me, who were you expecting?"
Elliot Sheridan didn't have a large circle of friends. There were only two people he'd grown up with.
One was Dylan Heston, and the other was Ethan Fletcher.
