Hearing this, Shalma Hughes proactively turned her body and linked her arm through his. She leaned her beautiful face a bit closer to his handsome features in a manner that seemed teasing, yet not quite. "Only casual small talk takes two hours. Otherwise, it would have been over long ago."
Seemingly infected by her smile, his gaze softened a fraction. "Whatever you say goes."
"Did you already know your parents were coming today, Mr. Winslow?" Shalma asked out of curiosity.
"Today was a coincidence. But... good thing your performance was decent. You deserve a reward." Julian Winslow suddenly reached out and lightly pinched her cheek. It was a gentle touch, but it felt incredibly nice.
Such a minuscule action made Shalma freeze. It took her a long moment to recover her senses. "Stop teasing me, or I'll bite you again."
