Shalma lifted her eyes and glanced at Julian Winslow beside her. He looked as calm and collected as ever, though his face—which usually bore a hint of a smile—was completely devoid of amusement right now.
"My tolerance is just average, and it depends on my mood that day," Shalma said truthfully with a polite smile.
