Shalma Hughes took it. She looked at the screen, took a deep breath, and dialed a number...
After a few seconds, the call connected.
As usual, there was silence on the other end. She spoke first. "I got a little hurt, and I'm at the hospital right now..."
After she spoke, she heard Jonah Sutton's voice on the other end, seemingly reporting something to him, along with a few other low voices. Though quiet, she could hear enough to suddenly realize... he was in a meeting.
Shalma felt awkward. "You're in a meeting. Never mind, I'll hang up now."
"Which hospital?" The tone was mild and aloof, betraying no emotion.
Shalma had been brought to the hospital by someone else, so naturally, she had no idea which one it was. She shot a pleading look at the young nurse. Catching on immediately, the nurse held up her name badge for Shalma to see and then held up three fingers.
