Just as everyone was scoffing, Amelia Lockhart suddenly stopped and quickly scrambled up a tree.
She was even faster than in the first episode.
Plucking a white wild fruit, Amelia gave it a quick wipe before taking a bite. A clean, sweet flavor spread through her mouth.
Amelia immediately popped the rest of the fruit into her mouth. Then, she picked a large green leaf, gathered seven or eight more of the wild fruits, and finally jumped down from the tree.
Amelia saw that the cameraman following her was sweating from the run. She grabbed a wild fruit and thrust it at him, startling him.
"It's not poisonous. I've tried it. Good for quenching your thirst," Amelia explained, then dashed off like the wind, cradling the fruits.
Ethan Quinn was indeed waiting obediently inside the tent. He was leaning against a sleeping bag, resting with his eyes closed, and only opened them when he heard a flurry of approaching footsteps.
