The car drove all the way to Amelia Lockhart's place. Lord had dropped her off before, so he knew the way.
"Ms. Lockhart, why don't you head on up? I'll bring the stuff up for you in a bit from the other side! It's apartment 1701, right?" Lord said cautiously, his eyes darting around the parking garage.
Amelia Lockhart nodded, then quickly waved her hands dismissively and smiled at him. "I'm strong. If you can carry it, I certainly can. I won't trouble you. I can take it up myself!"
Lord immediately put on a serious expression. "But my mom says you have to take good care of girls. Even strong girls are still girls. So, Ms. Lockhart, you should really just head up first!"
Seeing the chubby Lord's earnest expression, Amelia Lockhart found it hard to refuse his kind offer and got out of the car.
As Amelia Lockhart rode the elevator up, she couldn't help but think, 'I should record what Lord just said and play it for my sister. She's always ordering me around!'
