As it turns out, you have to be a bit firm with women.
At a nearby table, a woman was still crying. Her male companion had been watching Yang Hui, and he noticed that as soon as Yang Hui shouted, the beautiful woman instantly stopped crying and apologized.
He had a sudden epiphany. Apparently, you weren't supposed to coddle women; the more you did, the more spoiled and arrogant they became.
Mimicking Yang Hui's tone, he snapped, "Stop crying! If you cry again, I'll slap you."
The woman did stop crying. Just as the man was thinking his new trick had worked and was shooting Yang Hui a look of admiration, the woman shot to her feet, and SLAP! she smacked him across the face. "You've got some nerve! You want to slap *me*? I'm breaking up with you."
She stood, grabbed her bag, and walked out. The man was stunned. He clutched his stinging cheek, his adoring gaze toward Yang Hui turning to one of utter bewilderment.
