Li Yang couldn't help but ask, "Whose car is this?"
His gaze lingered for a second on the golden hood ornament of the Bentley. The emblem glinted coldly in the twilight, just like the faint, almost imperceptible curve of Serene's lips at that moment.
The driver, dressed in a custom-tailored suit, jogged over and opened the rear door. A sliver of the moon-white interior spilled out, its texture clashing elegantly with Serene's pearl handbag.
"Mine."
Serene slid elegantly into the car. The driver closed the door. "Goodbye, President Li."
As he finished speaking, the car window slowly rose.
Li Yang watched the Bentley Mulsanne slowly pull away from the company. Its two distinctive taillights lit up, seeming to mock his earlier praise for the comfort of the Mercedes V-Class.
He glanced around before muttering to himself with a self-deprecating laugh, "I never would've thought she was that loaded."
