Yang Hui followed Liu Shasha all the way to the lake-view residence.
She told him it was the crown jewel of the entire complex.
She pointed out the landscaping on either side as they walked, but Yang Hui clearly wasn't paying attention.
He could appreciate the landscaping anytime, but the beautiful sight before him—the woman deliberately exaggerating the sway of her hips as she walked—was a rare treat!
'She knows how to show off her assets, and I'm no hypocrite. If I want to look, I'll look. That's what a true gentleman does, right?'
The unit was a spacious 217-square-meter single-story residence, featuring a "vertical forest" greening system. Dual north-south balconies created a "sky courtyard" concept, and the balcony planters came pre-installed with an automatic irrigation system, allowing residents to enjoy a villa-level ecological experience high above the ground.
The entire building was configured with two elevators serving two units per floor, with key card access directly to a private elevator foyer. The two owners on each floor shared an approximately 40-square-meter sky lounge, complete with a built-in refrigerator and a capsule coffee machine.
He swiped the card and entered. Sunlight streamed through the six-meter-wide floor-to-ceiling windows of the living room, casting geometric patterns of light on a German Minotti leather sofa. The natural, cloud-patterned marble of the accent wall created a cool contrast with the warm tones of a red maple bonsai on the balcony.
The property management had already filled the entryway aromatherapy diffuser with a fragrance matching Hermes' "Un Jardin sur le Toit." The fresh scent of green grass and pear hinted at a lifestyle where coming home feels like a vacation.
"This 217-square-meter unit is like a Rolls-Royce Ghost—it's not the most expensive, but it's unequivocally the choice for those who understand the refined lifestyle of the upper echelon."
He couldn't help but chuckle. 'A bit of an exaggeration. The apartment is nice, but what kind of "upper echelon" lifestyle can you really buy for seven million?'
The apartment was being sold fully furnished with pieces from major international brands. Liu Shasha rattled them off, and though Yang Hui wasn't familiar with most of them, her eloquent descriptions left him feeling impressed despite his ignorance.
He was particularly demanding when it came to bedrooms; after all, it's the one place in a home where you spend the most time.
There was a custom floating bed from the Swiss brand Schramm Werkstätten. Its headboard was wrapped in Foglizzo haze-blue leather, and a hidden LED strip beneath the frame illuminated the parquet flooring, giving the sleeping space a halo-like glow.
The smart wardrobe, with its glass doors, was from the German brand Poggenpohl. The doors slid open automatically with a light touch, revealing champagne-gold rails fitted with motion-sensor lighting.
"So, what do you think? Are you satisfied?"
He walked over and tested the comfort of the large bed. Very satisfied!
"It's great. Perfect for getting some rest."
Liu Shasha gave him a suggestive smile. "And for a little 'exercise,' too."
Perhaps it was the privacy of the room, but she was getting bolder with her words.
"Have you tried it?"
She feigned a look of grievance. "Who would I have to try it with?"
"I haven't either. Should we give it a try?"
"You're so naughty!"
She playfully tapped him on the chest, but instead of pulling her hand away, she let it rest there, gently stroking him.
"Wow, I didn't realize your chest was so muscular. You feel so strong!"
Yang Hui wrapped an arm around her waist. "Still not as big as yours," he said. "Let me compare."
With his other hand, he reached into the open collar of her blouse.
Panting from his touch, Liu Shasha struggled and took a few steps back. "Do you... do you think I'm an easy woman?"
'I'd have to be an idiot to say yes to that,' he thought.
"Not at all. I think you're a woman who's true to herself. A woman of substance. A woman so vibrant she's practically bursting with life."
As he spoke, he stepped forward and pulled her back into his embrace, his other hand landing on her full, round bottom.
Her breath suddenly grew shallow and quick. Her chest rose and fell like the wings of a startled butterfly, causing the shadows in the hollows of her collarbones to tremble.
"You're so beautiful,"
he murmured, his warm breath brushing against her earlobe. Her skin instantly flushed a coral-pink, like a drop of ink spreading in clear water, the blush traveling from the tip of her ear all the way down her neck.
She felt his hands grow bolder; one had already slipped under the hem of her dress, while the other was deep inside her blouse.
Suddenly, she felt his lower hand growing even more brazen.
Her pupils dilated and her lashes fluttered, as if she'd been dazzled by a sudden burst of sunlight yet couldn't bear to look away.
She bit her lower lip unconsciously, her teeth leaving faint marks on the clear gloss, as if forcefully holding back a sound that was about to escape.
With a soft murmur, Yang Hui lowered his head, trailing kisses down her neck as his warm breath ghosted across her chest.
Her elegant orange-blossom perfume was suddenly mingled with a faint, milky sweetness—the natural scent of her skin as her body heat rose.
"Stop... you don't have a..."
Her usually crisp voice was suddenly tinged with hoarseness, the final syllable trailing off like a feather dipped in honey, leaving a viscous trace in the air.
'Too bad. I didn't bring any "supplies." Who thinks to bring that kind of thing when they're going to look at an apartment?'
He reluctantly let her go, pulling his hand from beneath her dress.
Blushing as she glanced at the glistening moisture on his fingers, Liu Shasha said in a pout, "You should go wash your hands."
When Yang Hui emerged from the bathroom, he acted as if nothing had happened. It was so seamless that Liu Shasha started to wonder, 'Was the seasoned Casanova from a moment ago really this handsome, "honest-looking" man in front of me?'
"Show me the children's room."
'I have to check out the room for Wenren Du'Er,' he thought. 'Since I'm buying the place, I might as well set her up with a proper princess room.'
Yang Hui didn't know much about interior design, but from Liu Shasha's description, he was generally satisfied.
It had a floating loft bed with a 1.5-meter electric sofa bed built in underneath, perfect for "bestie sleepover mode." There was a hidden motion-sensor light strip under the bed, and the steps leading up to it were designed as pull-out jewelry storage boxes.
An adjustable Magis desk from Italy was paired with a Herman Miller ergonomic chair. The wall featured a Lego art frame with a removable building area, as well as a magnetic daily planner.
By the window was a custom Japanese-style tatami platform with built-in Bluetooth speakers and a hidden drawer for a tea set. A Yayoi Kusama-style polka-dot pendant lamp hung from the ceiling.
The walls were painted a Morandi gray-pink, with a cloud-patterned wallpaper from the British brand Cole & Son on the ceiling. The floor was done in a smoked-oak herringbone pattern.
He nodded to himself. 'The little rascal will probably love this.'
"Are you already thinking about a child's room?"
She'd done her research beforehand. This wasn't even being purchased as a marital home, so it was unlikely he had a child.
'How could she know I basically picked up a thirteen-year-old daughter?' he thought. 'No need to explain any of that to her.'
"I'll take this one. Let's go sign the contract and sort out the payment."
Her smile instantly bloomed, giving him the distinct impression that this beautiful woman's grin was the best advertisement the entire development had.
While they were waiting to sign the contract, Liu Shasha finally couldn't stop herself from speaking to the "shy, honest man" who hadn't taken the initiative to ask for her number. "We should exchange contact info," she said.
Of course, he wasn't going to refuse. He had a feeling his story with this beautiful consultant was due for a sequel. There would be other opportunities to finish what they'd started today.
"Mr. Yang, you're a very direct man!"
He picked up his coffee and flashed a wicked grin.
Liu Shasha whispered softly, "Mhm."
