Zhao Chi nodded. "Understood. I'll go transport the Kerosene now."
Zhao Shizhang said, "Good. You two should get going. We'll be able to use this Super Bright Kerosene tonight."
Zhao Chi and Zhao Cang left one after the other.
Zhao Shizhang asked, "Qizong, what do you think? How much of what Zhao Chi said can be believed?"
Zhao Qizong said, "None of it can be verified, but the logic is all sound."
Zhao Shizhang nodded. "Yes, I'm just worried we're being used by someone with ulterior motives."
Zhao Qizong said, "What is there to be used for? It's a simple transaction, cash on delivery. The price is fair and reasonable, too. And that Super Bright Kerosene would be a real help to us right now, not just for patrolling the village, but for our territory as well."
Zhao Shizhang said no more.
He silently stared at the courtyard outside the door.
