The two sides were locked in a chaotic melee; there was basically no formation to speak of. However, since Su Qin's Race was Elf and the enemy consisted of Beastmen and Goblins, distinguishing friend from foe was still easy. The frontline now consisted of thousands of people split into several smaller battlefields, each fighting fiercely.
In terms of numbers, Su Qin's Elves were at a clear disadvantage. There were about 1,000 Elves engaged in close-quarters combat on the frontline, and roughly 300 more stationed on the Defense towers. Only a few of them wore Leather Armor; the majority were only dressed in Cloth Clothing, indicating that many were clearly civilians. Yet they gritted their teeth and persevered, holding the line without taking a single step back.
