Li Yan couldn't stand Tang Ruan's maniacal laughter. He thought she had gone mad, yet it also felt like a Taunt.
"Let's see if you can still laugh when I burn you to ashes!" Li Yan curled his fingers into a fist, then thrust it forward, snapping it open into a palm. A blinding stream of Flame blasted out.
Tang Ruan immediately blocked it with her Shield. The center of the Shield quickly glowed red-hot. Tang Ruan felt a searing heat against her palms, her delicate skin turning a blistering red. Yet she held on tightly, refusing to let go.
The stream of Flame blasted forward, splashing wildly in all directions. The nearby Blood Race Warriors were scorched by the Flame. Though they grimaced in pain, their eyes remained locked on Tang Ruan as they stabbed at her wildly. One sword thrust followed another.
But Tang Ruan's Defense was clearly much higher, allowing her to practically ignore these piercing Attacks.
