Zhao Chi stood outside the Lord's House, his brow furrowed.
Nearly 200 women stood before him, staring.
No one disturbed him.
Only Gu Qing asked softly, "Lord, is something wrong?"
Zhao Chi shook his head and sighed. "No, it's actually good news. The daily battles we've been fighting might be coming to an end."
"No more fighting?" Gu Qing and the others were surprised.
"There's no official confirmation yet, but that's what the system is indicating. Everyone, disperse. Go rest if you need to."
Gu Qing and Tang Ruan exchanged a look.
Then, Gu Qing waved her hand. "Alright everyone, back to work. If you're tired, go sleep for a couple of hours. There are no battles for now. Dismissed."
Hearing this, the women all dispersed.
Gu Qing moved closer and whispered, "This has nothing to do with what just happened, right?"
Gu Qing was referring to their recent escape from the nobles.
Zhao Chi shook his head. "No, it's unrelated. You should get some rest too. It's been a long day."
