February 22nd. Today is the last day of the Rule Stage.
The "Grand Tournament" held by the Soloma Empire was also about to enter its final stage.
The venue for the finals had been moved to the Capital's largest event center. Before the competition officially began, a long line of beautiful women and handsome men took the stage to warm up the crowd, dancing and singing their hearts out.
The venue, which could hold tens of thousands, was packed to the rafters. Even with ticket prices scalped to several times their original cost, countless Ascenders were still willing to pay.
Many audience members who had taken their seats held beers and sodas in one hand and jumbo tubs of popcorn in the other, as if they were there to watch a movie or a regular sporting event.
