That afternoon, Silver Fox drove Chen Na to the academy. Guan Tong, who had arranged this by phone the day before, was waiting at the entrance.
As soon as Chen Na got out of the car, she saw Guan Tong and trotted over, waving. "Guan!"
Guan Tong waved back and went to meet her.
"Na, you've gotten taller again."
The last time Guan Tong had seen Chen Na was during the earthquake Rule Stage. However, he had been in disguise then, and Chen Na didn't know he was Shadow, only that he seemed a little familiar.
Over four months, almost half a year, had passed since that Rule Stage. Chen Na had shot up another few inches; she could easily pass for a girl in her second or third year of junior high.
"Hehe," Chen Na chuckled sheepishly. "It's probably because the food at the base is so good, plus the modifications from my Psychic Power."
Guan Tong nodded.
