Victory in the first race didn't mean resting easy for the subsequent ones. Wu Shi and Massa weren't exactly optimistic about the immediate future. Massa, in particular, believed that over long distances, Williams was still inferior to Ferrari.
Before the race began, Wu Shi received an invitation from the organizers to attend the pre-race press conference for the Malaysia Grand Prix. He had assumed he wouldn't be called upon for this until the Hua Country Grand Prix and certainly hadn't expected it to happen so soon. It seemed his runner-up finish in the season opener had indeed drawn a fervent amount of attention.
Besides him, the five other invited drivers were Hamilton, Rosberg, Vettel, Alonso, and Massa.
