"Wu, is your ringtone a song from Hua Country?" a mechanic asked him right after he hung up the phone with Louise.
"Yeah, does it sound catchy?" Wu Shi knew this mechanic. The guy was a music fanatic who listened to all genres; it mostly depended on his mood at the time.
"Can you recommend it to me?"
"Of course."
Once Verstappen completed his overtake on O'connor, the rest of the race became rather lackluster.
At 11:40 AM, the race concluded. The long-absent sound of the "DU-DU-DU-DU" song echoed across the track. Verstappen stood on the podium, smiling shyly with pursed lips, swaying his body from side to side. As soon as the national anthem ended, he picked up the champagne and sprayed it directly at Wu Shi, who was standing off the stage.
"Fuck!" Caught completely off guard, Wu Shi got blasted with a face full of foam.
"HAHAHA!" Verstappen burst into roaring laughter before turning to symbolically spray O'connor and Lucas beside him.
