Chu Bamboo had only spent a few days in total on sports, singing, and writing novels. He was still in the sowing phase… There were only so many ways to make a quick fortune, and most of them were outlined in the criminal code.
After grabbing some breakfast, Chu Bamboo checked the time. He hesitated for a moment, then dialed the Lu family's landline.
"…Hello, who is this, please?" a confused, middle-aged woman's voice asked from the other end.
"I'm Chu Bamboo!" Chu Bamboo said calmly. "Miss Lu should have told you about me, Ma'am."
"You're the one... the president of that company?" Mrs. Lu said after a moment's thought, realization dawning on her. When she heard the news yesterday after returning home, she'd suspected it was a scam and called the school to confirm... Teacher Xu had even had the principal vouch for him.
