After Chang Gong had left, Xiao Jing sat where he was, frowning in thought for a moment.
He couldn't quite make up his mind about whether to dispatch troops, so he turned and ordered a Guard to summon his 'crafty' Military Advisor, Deng Ren.
After Deng Ren arrived, Xiao Jing recounted the situation and then asked, "Military Advisor Deng, should we dispatch troops?"
Upon hearing this, Deng Ren smiled and shook his head. "Doesn't My Lord already have the answer in his heart?"
Without waiting for Xiao Jing to reply, he continued on his own:
"The fact that Shanwu City sent someone secretly for help means their situation has already reached a dangerous point. Logically speaking, with Shanwu City's defenses, it should be very difficult for those poorly equipped Yellow Turbans to breach them. It's highly probable that a problem has emerged within the city itself..."
