Shen Lingyin's mind was made up. Even though Jiang Xinghai had brought her a joy she had never known, one that was beyond words.
For her sister's sake, she had to make a clean break!
"Well, I hope you find happiness," Jiang Xinghai said, gently patting Shen Lingyin on the shoulder.

Shen Lingyin looked down. "I mean... if one day I needed you to warm my bed, would you?"
"As long as I have the time, I'll be there without hesitation," Jiang Xinghai said solemnly.

Jiang Xinghai said no more.
He understood why Shen Lingyin had made this sudden decision, so instead of pressing the issue, he looked down the street. "Look, they've arrived."
"Oh, they are! They're here!" Shen Lingyin waved energetically at the figures in the distance.
