Leng Ning and Chuchu were in their car, about to arrive at the Mu Family estate.
Along the way, Chuchu regained consciousness. After Leng Ning explained what had happened, she couldn't help but feel a wave of lingering fear.

"You mean it could bring disaster to our families?" Chuchu asked indignantly.
"Black Cloak is capable of it," Leng Ning said, her face devoid of expression.
Chuchu let out a long sigh. "The Chu Family has over a hundred members, but you… you're all alone…"
At that, Chuchu clamped her mouth shut.
Leng Ning said with a bitter smile, "It's fine. It's the truth. I'm all alone, so I don't have many ties. You're different."
