The explosion was so sudden that the Second Elder had no time to react.
Almost instantly, the shockwave from the explosion enveloped the Second Elder. Zhou Fan mustered what little True Qi he had left and took a step forward. Tapping his brow with his left hand, he summoned the Slaying Sword once more, which shot toward the Second Elder with deadly intent.
Everyone who witnessed this was stunned. Or rather, they were utterly astonished by Zhou Fan's audacity.
'This kid is far too arrogant, completely disregarding everyone else. With Black Demon and three other masters present, he still dares to try and kill the Second Elder. It's absolute insolence!'
The three who had just arrived were none other than Purgatory's Grand Elder and the Left and Right Guardians. Upon seeing Zhou Fan's move, they all subconsciously glanced at Black Demon. Black Demon frowned slightly but did nothing. Seeing this, the trio didn't dare make a move either.
