BOOM!
With a tremendous crash, two figures crisscrossed in the air before being thrown backward!
Zhou Fan's body, like a kite with a snapped string, fell powerlessly backward. While still in midair, he coughed up several mouthfuls of blood, his face deathly pale. The aura around him withered to an extreme degree, as if his life force could extinguish at any moment!
On the other side, the Second Elder, though slightly better off than Zhou Fan, was in a terribly wretched state. He barely managed to stabilize himself before landing, but two ghastly sword wounds had appeared on his body. One was on his left abdomen, a gash so deep the bone was visible, with blood gushing out.
The other sword wound was on his right shoulder—a piercing injury that ran clean through it. It had come just shy of severing his entire right arm!
