By the riverbank, Zhou Fan sat on a bench. He draped one arm over the backrest and held a half-smoked cigarette in his other hand. His eyes narrowed as he stared at the river and the people playing or sightseeing along its edge, lost in thought.
Li Yue sat quietly beside him, her hands resting on her knees. Her face was still flushed red, and she didn't say a word, looking as demure as the girl next door. Every now and then, she would secretly lift her head to glance at Zhou Fan, only to quickly lower it again as if afraid of being caught.
"Stop sneaking glances. While I have time, you should hurry up and refine the Star Moon Sword. That way, you'll be able to keep up with your sister tonight." Zhou Fan felt a sense of helplessness. 'If this were any other woman, I would've swept her into my arms by now. But not Li Yue—she's only twenty!'
'And most importantly, they're twins! I have to think about Li Xing, too!'
