As dawn approached, Zhou Fan and Chen Yao were jostled along by the crowd until they reached the entrance to the back of the mountain. A large number of people had already gathered there, waiting silently in an orderly queue.
"Honey, there are so many people in line. I don't think we'll be able to get in, will we?" Chen Yao asked worriedly, hugging Zhou Fan and craning her neck to see ahead. All she could see was an endless sea of people.
"Relax. It's all part of the plan," Zhou Fan said with a confident smile.
A short while later, two men dressed in white emerged from the entrance. They first bowed politely to the crowd before one of them announced, "Everyone, due to time constraints, the old miracle doctor will only see the first twenty people in line today. We ask for your understanding."
"On what grounds? We've been waiting for so long!"
