"What?" Odin was startled. He put down the cloth he was using to wipe his silver spear and tucked it into his pouch.
He set the silver spear aside and stood up. His body was a little numb from squatting for so long.
"Do you feel like something's wrong?" Hans asked, staring ahead. The moonlight was currently obscured by clouds, making it difficult to see any movement below.
Odin's expression turned serious as well. Although his friend was usually unreliable, his intuition was always uncannily accurate.
Soon, the clouds were parted by the moonlight, and its yellow glow once again illuminated the land.
"Something's moving!" Odin spotted a gray shape.
No! It was a lot of gray! A dense, sprawling mass! Specks everywhere!
An attack!
"Enemy attack! Enemies!" Odin shouted.
"Quick! Go ring the bell! Tell John the horn blower! No, we should tell the officer!" Hans blurted out a stream of words, but was ultimately unsure what to do.
