In just three seconds, Lin Feng dashed behind the frantically fleeing Mother Empress. The Ion Laser Cannon on his Reproductive Armor's left arm had already completed its cooling cycle, and the second shot was fully charged.
Seeing the Mother Empress was about to dive into an opening in the high-speed tunnel's side wall, Lin Feng didn't hesitate. From over three hundred meters away, he fired the second Ion Light Cannon shot.
A searing, white-gold laser, like a blazing sun, lit up the dust-filled tunnel. The burning sparks of particulate matter instantly dispelled the darkness.
He could clearly see the Light Cannon strike the nape of the Mother Empress's neck, just behind its enormous brain. In the two-meter-diameter central blast zone, skin and flesh were instantly torn asunder.
It was instantly heated to over a thousand degrees!
