A strange thought surfaced in Player 3's mind.
It made him give up all struggle and resistance in an instant.

The gun went off, hitting him in the chest.
Player 3 didn't make a sound, nor did he struggle in his final moments. He just fell stiffly onto the table as trickles of blood seeped from his eyes, ears, nose, and mouth. He died on the spot.
Then, his form gradually faded from his seat...
In truth, as a veteran player, he wasn't without a chance to block that shot. After all, it was only imbued with three streams of power, and one of them was his own.
With the characteristics of the [Curse] system, his power could have formed some kind of curse at the critical moment. He could have secretly jinxed someone, weakened the gunshot's power, or even made the bullet veer off course.
He might have been injured, but he wouldn't have died.
