Feng Hao instinctively replied, "Aren't they? I haven't really seen any powerful Magical Beasts on my journey so far. The Spirit Beasts in the Origin Secret Realm were strong, but I get the feeling that Magical Beasts are generally weaker."
"That's because you haven't seen a truly powerful Magical Beast," the Thief Master said irritably. "Magical Beasts, just like us humans, have the ability to evolve into cosmic lifeforms. While it's true we humans have the advantage in intelligence, Magical Beasts have a huge advantage in their innate physical structure. Many Magical Beasts with ancient bloodlines are far stronger than us."
"For real? Why haven't I seen a single one?" Feng Hao asked in astonishment.
"Well..." The Thief Master suddenly looked up at the sky and sighed helplessly. "Actually, from a certain point of view, you're not wrong. Because of the Ancient Restriction, like us humans, the Magical Beasts have suffered a severe loss of their high-level members."
