After Mia Linden finished speaking, Seraphina Quinn's gaze swept over the other woman, who was still massaging Damian Fairchild's shoulders. Her words, however, were for him.
"Are you going to let her stay here?"
A hint of a smile played in Damian Fairchild's eyes as he stared at her, his gaze deep. "Why not? Is she putting you off your game?"
Seraphina Quinn's fists clenched at his words.
She bit her lip and said nothing.
Damian Fairchild continued,
"I thought you wouldn't mind. After all, if you could be with Cian and get caught in the act by me, with your thick skin, is there anything you can't handle?"
The moment Damian Fairchild finished, Mia Linden spoke to Seraphina Quinn with feigned innocence.
"Miss Quinn, please don't misunderstand. I'm just giving Fairchild a shoulder rub to help him relax. We… we don't have that kind of relationship."
'How pathetic my life has become,' Seraphina Quinn thought. 'Even a piece of trash like Mia Linden can walk all over me.'
