The wind was strong.
It whipped Seraphina Quinn's hair across her face, obscuring her expression from Damian Fairchild.
Her voice seemed to be swallowed by the wind, sounding somewhat muffled:
"Fairchild, aren't you already running a DNA paternity test for me and Master Fairchild? The test will tell you everything you need to know."
Donovan Fairchild already had his eyes on her.
There was no way Seraphina Quinn could acknowledge her relationship with Damian Fairchild now.
As she opened the door and got into Damian Fairchild's car, she spoke again to him, who was still standing outside:
"Fairchild, 'we have time' is a wonderful phrase. If you're determined to hold on, then just wait a little longer." She paused. "We have time."
Seraphina Quinn's words were subtle. It was as if she was hinting at something to Damian Fairchild, yet at the same time, perhaps not. Maybe it was just an ordinary platitude.
