At his words, Seraphina Quinn couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt.
But then she had a second thought. 'Why should I feel guilty?'
'I'm not his girlfriend or anything. Isn't he overstepping his bounds? Isn't he being way too domineering?'
'Besides, we haven't even formally started working together. What gives him the right to react so strongly?'
With this in mind, Seraphina Quinn quickly composed herself. Her voice was perfectly calm, without a ripple of emotion.
"Fairchild, first of all, entertaining Sommers is a standard business engagement. Secondly, even if there *were* something going on between me and him, that would be our private affair…"
Before she could even finish, the man on the other end of the line let out a short laugh.
"Miss Yara, I'll give you two choices. One, leave his place immediately, and I'll forget tonight ever happened. Two, you can choose to stay, but I will run Luminous Media into the ground."
