Damian Fairchild raised an eyebrow and pointed at Jude Garrison's bleeding head. "It seems he's not a very important friend of yours. Looks to me like his brains are about to spill out from that fall..."
Seraphina Quinn was left speechless.
'Damian Fairchild hasn't changed a bit,' she thought. 'Still the same venomous, sharp-tongued jerk he always was.'
'He just scraped his skin and bled a little... right?'
But now, Seraphina Quinn wasn't so sure.
Because there was now a pool of blood forming behind Jude Garrison's head.
Seraphina Quinn started to panic and reached for her phone to call an ambulance, but Damian Fairchild was already one step ahead of her, walking over to Jude Garrison.
Half an hour later, Jude Garrison was wheeled into an emergency operating room.
