Warm sunlight streamed through the dusty windows of the Old Oak Tavern, spilling onto the wooden tables and pewter mugs filled with ale.
In a corner of the tavern, the atmosphere was particularly lively.
"Cheers! To our narrow escape, and to our new fortune!"
Kelvin raised his mug, his face beaming with an unprecedentedly sincere smile.
"Cheers!"
Bloom slammed his massive, fan-like hands on the table and roared with laughter, his face flushed red.
"HAHAHA! And to young Ira's swing!"
Ira's cheeks were flushed, a mix of excitement and embarrassment.
"Bloom, please stop... I was just scared and swinging wildly."
Kelvin drained his ale in one gulp and let out a satisfied sigh.
"Alright, everyone. We made it back alive this time, and with a huge haul, too. Besides our good luck and great teamwork, there's one person we have to thank."
He paused, his voice filled with sincere gratitude. "'Miracle' Yano! He's the one who showed us the way."
