On the video feed, the interior of the SUV was visible. Bai Wan stood alert between the driver's and passenger's seats, staring at Shen Ruiping outside.
Hearing Yang Qi's voice come from the phone, it immediately whipped its head around to look at the screen.
"Bai Wan, this is Officer Shen Ruiping. He's a good guy, a friend of mine. I need him to drive the car now, so I need you to cooperate. Go on, get in the back and rest."
Yang Qi said quickly over the video call.
"WOOF!"
'Understood.'
Bai Wan yipped in response. The wariness in his eyes vanished instantly as he deftly jumped through the gap between the front seats and onto the back row. He sat up straight and even wagged his tail at the phone screen.
