The abilities of the Artifact Race aren't obtained through advancing in Tier.
Nor do they possess different Beastmaster Talents when they awaken their Soul Base, like Guardian Beast Masters do.
The abilities of the Artifact Race are acquired by studying scriptures later in life.
Zhong Yi had heard that there was a Divine Level Scripture within the Artifact Race.
It allowed members of the Artifact Race who studied this scripture to bestow sentience upon Demonic Puppets when they crafted them.
These Demonic Puppets, bestowed with sentience, were five times more expensive than ordinary Demonic Puppets of the same Tier.
'This Divine Level Scripture must be the Puppet Divine Heart that Yin Song has mastered.'
Rumor had it that this scripture was extremely difficult to master.
Among the Artifact Race, not even one in a hundred thousand members could successfully learn this scripture.
