"If you could become a Director, your status would be roughly equivalent to that of a Child of Ecology."
"You've obtained a Monopolizer Badge, which gives you a chance to become a Steward directly!"
Zhong Yi wasn't particularly moved by this.
This was because neither the status of a Steward—who could associate with the patriarchs of the Nine Great Ecosystems' favored clans as an equal—nor the status of a Director, equivalent to a Child of Ecology, offered him any tangible benefits.
Zhong Yi was just about to ask why Liu Shu would so unhesitatingly recommend he join the Wanyu Source Material Company when Liu Shu continued to speak.
"The Wanyu Source Material Company controls the data on every living being that logs into the Virtual Source Network."
"The reason a Director in one of the Four Major Companies is considered equivalent to a Child of Ecology is precisely because of the power they wield."
