And the common people hiding behind cover, trembling, yet with the last embers of defiance still burning in their eyes.
Li Xing withdrew his hand, and the starlight terrain map dissipated.
He turned to face the north, toward the Wilderness shrouded in gray clouds.
His black long robe whipped in the wind.
"From this day forward, everyone in Starlight City will follow me… to counterattack."
A dead silence fell over the city wall.
Then, Li Yao was the first to raise his sword.
The tip of his sword pointed north, his arm as steady as a rock.
"Counterattack!"
